(II) Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Hanoi City Tour

Welcome to Hanoi – Vietnam!

Upon arrival, the driver will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport (without tour guide); it takes us 35 minutes driving to the centre of Hanoi then check-in at hotel. Free at leisure rest of day. Overnight in Hanoi.

Night activities suggestion: enjoy local beer at Ta Hien Streets, experience the ambience of sleepless street with life music, the young people of Hanoi and also foreign tourists. Hundred of bars and pubs in the Old Quarter are also at your disposal or just simple spend your time at shopping malls or various boutique Shops.

Day 2: Hanoi – Full day city tour (B/L)

Tour starts from 08.00am (Please be available at the lobby of hotel around 07.45 - 08.00am)

08.00: We’ll pick you up from your hotel take you to visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum – the final resting place of the beloved national hero, Uncle Ho – and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house where he lived off and on from 1958 to 1969.

09.30: You’ll visit the One Pillar Pagoda, which is actually a group of structures that collectively make up a pagoda built over the water in the middle of a square lake.

After that, you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of West Lake. From there, it’s onto the Temple of literature, which was Viet nam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius.

12.30: You have lunch at the restaurant in the Old Quarter. Afterwards, you’ll visit Hoan Kiem Lake - the heart and soul of Hanoi.


OPTION 1: TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, SUNDAY

You’ll stop in at MUSEUM OF ETHNOLOGY. This superb museum showcases the depth of Vietnamese cultural diversity with an astounding collection of 15,000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. Maps, displays and

dioramas are labelled in Vietnamese, French and English. Displays portray a typical village market, the making of comical hats and a Tay shamanic ceremony; videos show the real thing.


OPTION 2: MONDAY

Depart for Bat Trang ceramic village which is about 20 km away from Ha Noi, this is pottery village with a half-milleary historic development.

15.30 - 16.00: Take the car come back your hotel. Free at leisure rest of day. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi –Halong – Overnight On Board (B/L/D) SHUTTLE BUS

Tour starts from 08.00am (Please be available at the lobby of hotel around 07.45 - 08.00am)

08:00 – 08:30 – Our guide will meet you at your hotel/stay and start 120km modern bus-journey through verdant landscape. Stop over for a rest on the way.

10:30 – Arrive Hoa Lu, once ancient capital of Vietnam dating back to the 11th century. Having been eroded over the millennia, the dilapidated ruins have nearly been absorbed by the spectacular scenery creating a mystical atmosphere that will besure to titillate your imagination, visit King Dinh and Le Temple.

12:00 – Enjoy a lavish buffet lunch in a local restaurant, a great place to savor the intense flavours of Vietnamese food then go to Tam Coc for a stunning boat trip.

13:00 – Board the sampan boats, owned by locals, gently sailing along Ngo Dong river, capturing the wonderful scenery of Karst hills, rice fields, and peaceful villages, and passing “Hang Ca”, “Hang Hai” and “Hang Ba”.

15:00 – Leisurely cycling on country road around village

16:00 – Get on shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

18:30 – Drop off at your hotel. Trip ends. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi –Halong – Overnight On Board (B/L/D) SHUTTLE BUS

08.30: Our shuttle bus will come to pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi centre. Drive to Halong City. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta country side.

Stopover at Hai Duong province for refreshment about 30 minutes

11.30: Arrive at Tuan Chau island – Take break and welcome drink at Glory Legend Cruise Lounge Transfer to Glory Legend Cruise

Welcome drink - receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

Enjoy a lunch with Vietnamese dishes served while cruising through the bay, passing the most beautiful and

quiet areas, such as Incense Burner, Dog Stone Islet, Fighting Cock, Soi Sim beach, Coconut Three Island

Visiting Tung Sau area, is covered by the leaping rocks, cultured pearl fishery. You can wit yourself the process of

the jewel, from culturing to harvesting and sculpting, Moreover, you have a chance to do kayaking based on your

preference. Enjoy busy space with pearl maker, you can experience the completion of pearl.

Visiting the beautiful Ti Top beach for swimming (if the weather permits), Ti Top Beach is especially famous for its fresh atmosphere, clean water, and smooth white sand that create a great ambiance for tourists to relax or passengers can take steps to reach on the top of Ti Top beach to have a whole panorama view of Halong Bay. Back to the boat and free time while sailing to Luon Bo area, and anchor overnight.

Attend the Cooking class on sundeck – How to make Vietnamese spring rolls - traditional Vietnamese food. Then enjoy Happy Hour (Buy one drink-get one free). It is time for chit chat and relaxing. Watch the magnificent sunset over Halong Bay.

19.30 – 23.00: Dinner – Deluxe Vietnamese and International BBQ Set Menu Dinner

Evening activities include: Leisure time to enjoy a chat around the bar, watching movies and many sort of Vietnam cultural films, relaxing and spending a romantic night on Glory Legend Cruise’s music, playing cards, chess are available, reading magazines in room and dining room. You may also try your luck at squid fishing & fishing from the boat.
23.00: End of Program for Day One.

Day 4: Halong – To Hanoi (B/L) SHUTTLE BUS

06.00 – 08.00: The day starts early onboard with Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi also called Tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements.

Coffee, tea and pastries for breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape.

08.00 – 11.30: Transfer by tender to Sung Sot Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance. It takes approximately 45 minutes for cave visiting. Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most biggest cave in Halong bay with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. Return to the boat by tender. Proper shoes are highly recommended. Back to Glory Legend Cruises. Check out and settle your bill at reception.

Have a lunch while cruising back to the Tuan Chau Wharf. Relaxing on the sundeck or in the dining room

enjoying the bay scenery while approaching the wharf.

Disembark to Tuan Chau Wharf. Say goodbye to the crew.

12.00 – 15.30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus

Stop over the middle to visit a traditional workshop and refreshment about 30 minutes.

Return to Hanoi around 4PM and drop off at your hotel for check in. Free at your own leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel and check out. You are free until driver pick up and transfer to airport for departure flight (without tour guide). End of service!
